The Strand Singers (also known as Cantamus Yangon) is a small group of enthusiastic singers, formed in 2015. We put on a few concerts every year to raise money for various charities.

Join us at the River Gallery for a short concert of choir pieces, ensembles and solos, covering a range of different styles of music from Mediaeval drinking songs, to Broadway musicals, via Schubert and Mozart! This time, we’ll be raising funds to buy beds for an orphanage.

Entry is free, and all are welcome.

Drinks and snacks will be available to purchase at the concert, with all profits going to charity.

NB – The gallery can only seat 50 guests at a time, so please RSVP if you’re planning to attend. Attendance will be on a first-come-first-served basis on the day, but if we get a lot of RSVPs then we’ll hold two sessions – one at 4.30pm and one a bit later in the evening – we’ll send out a message to let people know in advance!
